Granted, but your sister's dog and the cats end up getting along really well, negating the need for dog-proofing (oh if only...)

I wish my creative periods weren't so sporadic

Granted. You eventually get to the point where your ideas are so constant that you write them out on the sheets and walls and floor while asleep, and eventually the walls are so thick with writing that you have to scrape it off with a shovel, and spend a fortune on ink and graphite and lipstick and surgery from trying to carve writing on the walls with your fingernails.

I wish to win a contest from a game store, like Hastings since it;s the only one this side of the Kansas City suburbs, that let me have, say, 999 free games, over a minimum of... say, maybe a year.

Granted. But you also have to govern the rest of All that Is, get annoyed with havinbg to constantly govern the humans both dead and alive, and decide just to sort out the dead humans based on how good they told your acolytes they were, and tell the living humans a few basic rules, before ytou go back to governing simple things like the laws of nature.

I wish to write (and become rich and famous and welll-liked from) a treatise on the nature of either evolution or of the universe.

Granted. It's Kairi's "dress" from KH2 (the pink outfit, not the catholic school outfit)

Inserts Auron;s.. robes or coat or whatever. With accompanying sunglasses and jug of sake (or whatever it was, I once figured out what it was, but have since forgotten).

ninja'd! Erm, the crossbow was used in a murder in the 1940s and is confiscated, with you getting fined for witholding evidence with 70 years of interest.

Granted. but it is guarded by the Ultima WEAPON, which you can;t defeate without using the Ultimate Weapon, so without time travel you pretty much can;t get the ultimarte weapon anyway.

I wish we would stop getting confused about the Wishing Well, Vending Machine, and Throw Something Random threads.

Granted. But we start mixing up the threads again, and the time-space continuum is still in crumbly bits.

I wish to be able to time travel with no fear of destroying to future or losing my life or memory in another time.

Granted. Nothing good will happen, either. Neither will nothing neutral, because that would be boring, and boring is usually bad. You have just broken time and space. Play again? y/n

granted but you only get safe points just before bad stuff happens (see most final fantasies) so everytime you go back in life you got to take a hit.

Granted. Two can be as bad as one. (it's the loneliest number since the number one)

I wish to teach the world to sing, in perfect harmony, and then to buy the world a coke, and get in the guinness book of world records for having sponsored the world's largest bottle of coca-cola.

Granted. Under the condition that you forget anything you know about music previous to, say, the widespread acceptance of the compact disc for music. (personally, I think knowledge about old or obscure musical artists is cool.)

I wish I could remember as much about old music/composers/performers as you do (or did, had the wishing well worked). Not forgetting anything I happen to know that you don;t.

Granted, but it is soap foam rather than styrofoam, or plastic foam, so all the bubbles pop or dry out, leaving a buddha-shaped soap stain wherever it had been kept.

I wish form a new laptop computer. A really nice one. With firewalls and programs and games and music and plenty of spare memory (permanent and random access), and an operating system that I wouldn;t mind using. Having been paid in full, or free of charge, so I don;t owe money on it.

Granted. You have boiled spinach, and lite spam, and dried pasta (but no water, nor broth, nor milk and cheese, nor a heat source)

I wish for a most excellent meal served to me each evening, of the proper foods having been cooked in the appropriate style to fit the taste for whoich I am in the mood on the day that it it served, and no poisoners or inept cooks or unpleasant ingredients (such as gristle, or dirt, or thimbtacks, or the like).
