Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween, everyone!
Although I never do anything for Halloween anymore, it still remains for me the most magical of holidays, or at least, to this day, I still cherish the memories that my imagination had given me during this time, when I was little.
So, weather you do anything special or simply dismiss it as as a normal day, I hope you all enjoy it.

Yeah Happy Hallyweeny!!!!
Can't wait to dress my little guy up in his devil suit, with a little black cape! Then my sister is going to take him around trick-or -treating, because I'm too lazy!!
Then tonight I shall have some meditation and do a candle magic wish for the coming year.

If you studied in England you could trick or treat to your heart's content, and have fun with Phantom and others you know.....

Re: Happy Halloween!
Oh yeah, good point. Only other thing to do is raid the government offices, forge a bill to celebrate Halloween, get a sleepy MP to sign it and go to sleep until 31ts October next year to see if it works...

Re: Happy Halloween!
Yeah, I heard December is much more magical in the European countries. I totally envy that!! Esp Germany, they have that whole magic market thing, I would give anything to go somewhere like that!

Re: Happy Halloween!
Wha?!? every fonze? Like from Happy Days, or some Holland phrase (< unintentional rhyme!) , or just because you couldn't think of anything that rhymes with bronze?

Re: Happy Halloween!
I likes the fonze!!
And I like the description of the pretty lights. Maybe one year when Jonny is bigger I will take him for a short trip to a European country to see the pretty Christmas stuff.
Until then I actually have a reason to celebrate November 1st this year. Apparently an astrogogical phase that has been causing lots of disruptions, and appaerntly explains my bad luck, ends some time today. Hopefully all my troubles will not be so bad! Happy November 1st everybody!!!

Re: Happy Halloween!
"Pagans" celebrated a fall festival in the British Isles, but when Christianity swept through, the fest was converted to a holiday celebrating (as the name suggests) all christian saints at once.

Re: Happy Halloween!
Yeah, there are a lot of festivals/holidays celebrated around the start of November and end of October. Mainly to do with the dying of the seasons, and all related subjects, but occasionally just totally unrelated stuff.
Re: Happy Halloween!
you can tell I'm British, we only have Bonfire night before Christmas
People keep telling me I could be Pagan or Wiccan, but I really am not, because I don't celebrate any of the holidays or know any of the customs. And deities confuse me
Maybe I'm just a pre-Roman British type who likes to dabble in stuff. I dunno.....(trails off)

Re: Happy Halloween!
Well not if they burn...
Though maybe it's not that bad, I suppose lots of traditions have burning trees, even pagans jump over burning trees in some fertility rite. I couldn't do that I would probably fall on the tree and get burned badly
