Mmmm it's because I got a phonecall from the Uni yesterday As well as finding two of my old teachers to give me a reference (and remember it has been over three years since I even spoke to a teacher ), I also have to take two compositions to my interview. They said they would accept me anyway, but they have to obey the admissions policy. Even if I already am accepted, I'm gonna look like a twat if I don't have some music to show them

Why do feelings and romance and all usually cause such problems between friends?

Because it's just such a sensitive and personal problem. Often friends have the best intentions and try to help their friend in need, but it's hard not to accidentally step on someone's feelings, especially when being outspoken. I think romance love is such a mutt from hell, it tears your sock up but you can't bring yourself to throw it away.

Er, what was I saying? Erm, hang in there guys, I think we must have more courage than others by admitting to people that something is causing distress. There's no denial, which is a good start.

And as I've said before dude, don't be angry with yourself, it's about timing. From what you've said stupid stuff keeps happening that's distracting you, and trying to tell someone your feelings when you feel down is not really a good idea anyway, because then you would be projecting insecurity, which can be repelling to those weird girl thingies (that's one thing I know about them anyway! )

I don't think you are lacking guts, I just don't think you are in the right place. Cheer yourself up first, then try to tell her, it might go better that way. Even if she rejects you, she's more likely to do it in a way that won't be as painful. Girls are not complete beasts!
