Apparently, he's not good at improvisation (he's creative, but it takes him a while, though his somngs almost never need a rewrite after the initial lyrics session).

Throws a recorder, a piano, and 3 guitar lessons. (the recorder was from music class, I was pretty good at piuano, but I opnly mastered the first three lessons of guitar before my cat smashed the CD)
