I have been trying to find either the lyrics, or at least the title to that song for years! Thank you!

Wow, that's a coincidence then for sure. The song is titled Living on the Edge and it is by Aerosmith. It is from one of my favorite rock albums ever, Get a Grip.

I like this song, but what the hell does that imply towards these forums? XD
