Re: one or the other
Pharoh is cooler, but he's also pretty much evil from having spent the last 3000 years encased in a shadow maze of his own mind. Yugi is... Well, at the beginning of the series, he was a miserable whiny-kid, but since then he's toughened up and become less self-centered. I'd probably say... Yugi from the second series onward in the manga, pharoh in the anime, and neither of them in the first season of the manga.
Which would you have wanted if you were watching the show or reading the manga while it was still running, less of a buildup to the Pharoh's name and it not being revealed to the fans, or as much of a buildup as they gave it and an unsatisfactory name?
(Personally, I think it would've been a letwdown either way, but the name they gave him was at least decent)

Less of a buildup and no revealing. I was disappointed with the name, I would have preferred him to be nameless really. It's an ok name, but it's not great.

Re: one or the other
Cell phone. Mobiles (as opposed to single-purpose cell phones) these days are getting really useful, and are portable. Landlines are useful for internet access, but not much more nowadays.

You know, I never found out what DSL means >.< I have a cable modem so I guess that would be my choice.

Re: one or the other
Set monthly charge. I could never understand how someone who uses the internet for more than a few minutes a week could use pay-paer-minute.
And it stands for direct service line. I think it's because the signals for the internet completely take over the connection rather than having to filter it through a language the phone transmitters understand.
Online game where you buy it, then pay a set amount each month for the full game and any free upgrades or purchased expansions, or free game that you are limited in what you can do, but can pay for options and in-game services that unlock more of the game than would be usable with the restrictions on stuff like inventory and lack of no-exp-cost revive amulets?

Re: one or the other
The latter, I think the choice to pay or not to pay should be available, in order for more people to be able to access the game. And then they can pay if they get serious about it.

Re: one or the other
I reallydon;tr like either. Post-it notes are too easy to lose, and a journal* is less flexible for notekeeping without a decent cross-reference system. I prefer writing notes on my palm or arm and transferring them to my computer, where they can be edited, but I would prefer a paper journal (proper binding, or legal notepad, not spiral or three-ring) over post-it-notes.
Weblog (limited to friebds, and can be censored and/or discussed) or offline journal (limited to whoever can steal it)?
*by my definition, a journal can be notes-to-self written through the day, or a log of the day, and a diary is only the log of daily events

Re: one or the other
I've never done a weblong before, but I have to admit I do like the idea of it, since I don't keep much secret these days (nothing that special to keep secret >.<)

Re: one or the other
My Diary of Hell. Sounds interesting. Weblogs, or Blags as they are known in the current online vernacular, tend to be stereotyped as incredibly dull and unimportant except to those who write them.
Be immortal and bored, but able to have fun with the world, or be in a heaven-type paradise, but still be bored because most fun stuff involves bending rules?

Re: one or the other
Immortal and bored, I don't like the idea of heaven. Rules!! I really don't see why there would be such a place, sounds more like school than a kind of paradise.

Long and prosperous. I don't fear death, but i do fear dying.
Which is the worse fear for you: Dying, or being dead?

Re: one or the other
Probably dying itself, I would want it to be over quickly. My only fear for actually being dead is the fact that my family would be left behind.

Re: one or the other
Hmm, that's a tough one... I'd say legacy through art or music, because (asuming art and music halflives don't keep decreasing) one can be known for their creations, and then people actually care. Most people only know about Alexander the Great because he dated Cleopatra and rode a herd of elephants into battle (yeah, I know that's wrong, that's my point)
same question.
same question.
Re: one or the other
Definitely art, assuming the art stays in its original form over the years. Reputation can be twisted even in life, in a way it's worse if your reputation gets twisted in death, you can't defend yourself and you will go down in history that way (look at Jesus as another example >.<)
Lol that's interesting, continuing on the subject of reputation and legacy- Jesus or Alexander the Great? XD

Hmm... immortal Zombie Cleric or Lancer/Fighter multiclass with a defunct kingdom? Jesus FTW.
Specialty powers (black mage/white mage) or lower-level but more versatile powers (red mage)?
(remember, in some games red mages can also use low-level swords)

Re: one or the other
Being the jack-of-all-trades that I am (although admittedly master of none >.<), I'm inclined towards the red mage. I would get bored with the same powers very easily.

Summoner, Healing is not who I am... And, yes, summoners DO usually have low level healing powers, not counting some of their summons.

Re: one or the other
I'd really prefer neither, since I never really get into either of them, but I'd choose mage because they create sparkly/shiny things.

If it's WoW, probably Champions of Norrath. If it's an original Warcraft expansion, then Diablo. If I was confused and it's EverQuest, then probably Champions of Norrath.

Urgh, nether seem particularly appetising on average, but between the best pizza I have ever had and the best hamburger, I would say pizza.

Re: one or the other
Ear infection. It's far more painful, and has a more severe accompanying fever (sometimes even resulting in tinnitus), but a sinus infection always makes me afraid I'm going to suffocate or choke or have the infection spread to my eye and, since eyes are sympathetic, completely blind me.
And yeah, I had no idea that champions of Norrath was a PS2 game (I just found four copies after my post but before yours)
