FMA anime so far, since I haven't been able to read the manga yet. It will be on my list though ^^

Oooh, tough. i would have to say Fullmetal Alchemist, at least the manga. Deathnote has been pretty awesome, though.

The original Deathnote movie, or the spinoff focusing on L?

haven't seen either of them, though I will still answer. Given that anime movies are fairly cool, I choose the spinoff, because L was awesome.

Shakugan no Shana or Mahou Sensei Negima? Or, if you haven't seen one or both of those:
Black Cat or D Gray Man? (both are animes....as an FYI)

I do not recall what Shakugan no Shana was, so... Well, I have never watched Black Cat, but I did not like the manga preview, and I did sort of like the start of D. Gray Man... So, D Gray Man.

Chi's Sweet Home (a hilarious series of 2-minute episodes about a lost kitten adopted by a family, with a 30 second theme song for every episode), or... My Neighbor Totoro (a not so hilarious movie of a troll that looks like a cat, with a rea-hea-heally long theme song)
