"Pagans" celebrated a fall festival in the British Isles, but when Christianity swept through, the fest was converted to a holiday celebrating (as the name suggests) all christian saints at once.

Yeah, there are a lot of festivals/holidays celebrated around the start of November and end of October. Mainly to do with the dying of the seasons, and all related subjects, but occasionally just totally unrelated stuff.

you can tell I'm British, we only have Bonfire night before Christmas Embarassed

People keep telling me I could be Pagan or Wiccan, but I really am not, because I don't celebrate any of the holidays or know any of the customs. And deities confuse me Question

Maybe I'm just a pre-Roman British type who likes to dabble in stuff. I dunno.....(trails off)

Well not if they burn...

Though maybe it's not that bad, I suppose lots of traditions have burning trees, even pagans jump over burning trees in some fertility rite. I couldn't do that I would probably fall on the tree and get burned badly Sad

Usually I get clumsy when my mind is on something, I daydream and walk into lampposts! I've accidentally rammed Jonny's pushchair into a lamppost a couple of times because I was thinking about something else. And since I live in a dreamworld by nature, maybe my clumsiness is by nature too Razz

you mean do all my day dreaming before I start walking somewhere? Doesn't that defeat the object of daydreaming if it is planned? Or am I really silly? Question

D: All of the above.
But if you pay attention, and only daydream when there is a long stretch oif sidewalk ahead with nothing to run into, you might still run into things. (j/k for last 2 paragraphs)
But seriously, clumsiness and absentmindedness are two different things, both by nature. Both are annoying, but at least the second can be fun.
