Making the Community Grow.
Although I have given my status to Miss Lockheart, (And I know she is doing a good job of it.
) I have not abandoned the forums, and would like to know how we might be able to get more members?
I have submitted the address to a few search engines, but perhaps there is more we can do? I have been told that getting forums to have members is a slow process.
But in any case, if you guys can think of some suggestions, I would love to hear them.
Thank you, and good night.

Re: Making the Community Grow.
That would be a bad idea. Get is all in trouble. Maybe we could post links on whatever sites we have access to, like personal websites, mypages, profiles and links threads on other forums.

Re: Making the Community Grow.
Hmmm I'll make a point of doing that also. I don't go many other places on the net, but I'll do my best.
If weblinks are not allowed on the forums I go to, I'll do what you did originally Termie, which is to ask permission of an admin to send PMs to some members. Could work.

Re: Making the Community Grow.
I used to admin a Advertisment forum i suppose i could put the link on it.
Yeah Ad forums and Resource forums are good places to advertise as they get alot of traffic and alot of members check out the forums that are advertised. This is a quick and effective way to get members when your starting out.

Re: Making the Community Grow.
Yay I managed to allow Final Fantasy Forever to let me put the link in my sig there. They said it was fine, as long as I stayed
I think this is the case with a lot of forums, asking nicely helps!

Re: Making the Community Grow.
Wow, it's been a long time since I posted here, just wanted to update everyone on the forum happenings, yep.
I love this place. It's so peaceful, and a joy to look after. So sorry once again that I've been so absent lately, so many dramas on and off the net to deal with, it hasn't been easy lately. But I can't abandon this place, not when it has so much potential.
So after some discussions I came up with a small idea. We have the Hollow Bastion set up here, so what I'm going to do is invite some more members of FFNet and some trusted members of KH3 here to have a little chat about things. Hopefully the discussions will encompass all three forums, and reap benefits for them all. Everyone I choose will be chosen because they care about these places, so we can get some mature and productive dialogue going about how we can make this place really shine.
I'm gonna ask Kain's permission to advertise on KH3 too. I think that will be easy enough, since Termie and Kain know each other well. Let's hope so anyway ^^
Please guys, if you have anything you want to discuss or chat about, or any ideas, feel free to contact me at my usual places. That's the most important thing to me. Whatever's going on in my life right now, you guys are important to me, so I'm gonna do my best in any way I can for you all

Re: Making the Community Grow.
Jeez. I should probably come around more often. How is everything going around here? Were you able to advertise it at KH3?
I've also not been there yet, although Kain asked me too... XD

Re: Making the Community Grow.
Nah, no one showed. And KH3 adv ertising got some people to FFNet, but not at SE.
I've been there longer than I was at FFNet. But I tend not to go for months at a time. I really should go to KH3 more often.

Re: Making the Community Grow.
Meh, it's as JET said. They even distracted me from here and to an extent, FFNet too. Not good

Re: Making the Community Grow.
Haven;t been to KH3 since... before a few weeks ago, I don;t know how much before. They don;t need any help keeping their forum alive.
We do;t either! (I refer to FFNet. We at SE need all the help we can get.)
Post at SE, people! Or... I will imagine drawing a tear on a statue of a sad kitten. It will be very sad.
Thanks for stopping by, ML!
