Perhaps she does not intend to mock you. Maybe the simplicity of her playing strategy is the downfall of the game, and she has less trouble because she uses some form of gaming zen on FInal Fantasy, and you play as one who must challenge the game directly, and on its own terms, so as to feel that you truly have conquered the title. However, if she teas3es you about beating th monsters first, it means she happens to have an obnoxious streak.

Why is philosophy always such a good answer to most things, whether vague or specific, teaching or telling, ancient or technology-based?

Why don't I just chill out and stop taking things too seriously? ^^*

Either 6012 years this october 12, some 400o years old, some 5 and a half thousand years, old, 2008.2 years old, soem 6 million years old, or some 4.5 billion years old, or roughly 26 or 46 years old, depending who you ask.

Why do people tend to make hypocrites of themselves by saying video games are stupid things to argue about because they're pointless, but that it's worth huge wars to argue about whether some never recorded and completely invisible guy is an old dude with a beard and an undead kid or some other form of humanoid/semianthropomorphic creature?

I can;t remember much german, or dutch, but if that's the Jackl Thompson people are having problems with over here, it's because he's decided that video games are an abomination, and he must destroy them, and if he even ever looks at a video game hios mind will be warped eso that he will no longer be able to combat the video game menace. ("Know thine enemy," feh)

Why do people (lots of people, not just people who use religio9n or politics to complain about everything that annoys them in the least) decide that video games are bad, then launch an all-out campaign without even geting their facts straight?

Because they have tunnel vision. Just like any art, they will try and destroy it because they can't understand it.

Should we give them a PS2 and a padded room to play it in?

What madness? You mean the default state of humanity? Oh, it probably won;t.

Why do we keep waxing philosophical on the forum games threads, whereas we rarely use the actual philosophy parts of the forums any more?

What do ou mean nothing as bad luck? if you mean nothing like bd luck, it';s because anything similar to bad luck will be automatically classified as suck. If you mean why is there no such thing as bad luck, it's because you don;t believe in it, and therefore, for you, it does not exist.

What is the power of belief in relation to the metaphysical?

The power of belief can parallel the power of suggestion- if one thinks or believes something, it will manifest.

But why do we not as humans think positive all the time?

Because we are human. We constantly and subconsciously plot an estimated graph of possibility, figure for the arc of most probability, and (depending on our individual personalities) either hope for the best, prepare for the worse, or expect the most logical.

What are the possible side effects of having a pin or splinter (most likely clean, so other than tetanus) accidentally pushed nearly an inch into one's foot (at an angle, at the ball of the middle and second toe, so it doesn;t go much deeper than the first layers of fat and muscle)?

(this actully doesn;t make much sense asking here, because I';ll probably have looked it up in a medical book by when I return here tomorrow)

Ummmm... I don't get it.

I had a nail stuck in my foot once, about three inches in at an angle in my heel. Other than intense panic (I was 8 ) and underage swearing, the chances are slim of getting any serious side effects. Unless you call a children's doctor and a bunny certificate about hospital bravery side effects ^^

Why did I just admit to all that?

I really don't know because I've only ever seen one Harry Potter film (the second one) and though she seemed really precocious and stuck up, I didn't get any spite from her. Must be something to do with the more recent films.

Is it worth watching any of the other Harry Potter films?
