ask the person below you a question Empty Re: ask the person below you a question

Post by Miss Valentine Tue Jan 29, 2008 4:15 am

Um I think the forum has done that itself, the French looks like it says something about the volume of posts in the thread, so it broke it and put a link to the other one, for some reason. I could only loosely translate it, since I know very little French. Though why it's appeared in my sig I have no idea! Question

Should I ask Termie?

If you want to die, then yes. If not, then it would not be the right choice Wink

Who would want to join the army?

Putting aside the fact that the human race has had armies for thousands of years, which have sometimes carried out acts just as brutal as the modern armies, I think it's a power status symbol kind of thing these days. For every full-on war between countries, there are probably ten more "cold" wars, as they feign friendship but are really trying to better each other. I also think that some countries only send their armies to war in order to prove a point, that they are a big country and no-one should mess with them. Sadly, it's the way of the world Sad

If Egyptian Pharoes and Roman Emperors had to join their armies in battle, then why don't modern leaders do the same? *tongue in cheek* Suspect

The same reason "supervising" counts as a reasonable excuse not to help haul lumber. Plus, a lot of facets opf society are a careful balance of disrespecting and relying on the supposedly infallible image of the current leaders.

The same reason you would need a Capture materia.

Is there a Capture materia in the original FFVII, or is it from another game or a spinoff?

No there's only Capture on FFX, where you buy specific weapons with that ability in order to fill up the Monster Arena. I think that's the only one, I'm not sure if other FFs have any capturing (and I don't count the Poach technik in FFXII)

Can you reccommend any good earphones? I was trying to compose and the ones I have kinda died Sad (this is why I procrastinate, because when I do write music something stupid happens and I have to stop)

Either you have a lesson in a subject that you despise, there's something about school in general that annoys you, or you don't see your gf, or something along those lines.

So why do you hate Thursday?

I don't. Although, more recently I mildly detest thursdays because NBC destroyed 30 Rock and My Name is Earl, and may not play the finale of Scrubs, or even the finished episode they have yet to air.

If Firesnake: Why do you hate Thursdays?
If anyone else: What's your favourite video game armor?

My favourite videogame armour so far has to be the Escort Guard from FFVII. I haven't really done much better than that in that game, but I find it useful in the Battle Arena since it nullifies elemental attacks. Give the guy a Ribbon aswell, and you're set Very Happy

Which brings me to- which is your favourite accessory? Might be a bit obvious Mr Green

Hmmm... Bracer accessory from FFIII. Reduces magic damage and increases defense a reasonable amount. Un expected, huh?

What's your favourite item, accessory, etc. with Tourmaline in the name? (Careful, Dragon Quest also has Tourmaline items)
