(It always bothers me when this sort of thing occurs, where we get into a nickname genre that I've not thought of before, but tat I obsess about finding the proper one. Different plant types tend to be associted with personality traits, scent as well as sight, and you really don't seem to fit the profile of any sort of flower in my quickly accessible memory. And hyacinth may not be what I'm thinking of.)

Hyacinth is usually associated with Christmas, as well as poinsettia, so I'm pleased with that ^^

(Vanilla is one of the most awesome scents ever, I don;t find it particularly plain, and it's really only overpowering if you get the pure extract up your nose. Not a metaphor, it really stings, and makes everything reek of vanilla and cooking alcohol.)

I love bergamot. Both in tea and in deodorant spray stuff.
