Favorite Anime/Games

We all know of games based on ani,e, and anime based on games. What is your favorite for each?

My favorite anime based on a game (that I have seen and can remember) is probably .hack//sign. Pokemon would be the first anime most people think of, especially considering that although the start of the show was somewhat interesting, but it got really really awful after the first few seasons. the manga was much better. (and no, I have seen none of the FF7 anime beyond half an episode on YouTube, so no opinion.)

My favorite game based on an anime would have to be DBZ Budokai 3, although the first Fullmetal Alchemist game for the PS2 was pretty interesting. (The PSOne game sounded even better, but I don't haave the money to import games)

Hmm...I usually avoid anime based video games. :/ Especially brand name anime like Pokemon or DBZ. Fanbase service, blah.
But, I have had my dip in that very pool, so, MS Saga New Dawn, based upon the Gundam Wings anime universe.
It is an extremely mediocre role playing game however, with blah graphics and unrelated plot, but it does have deeply customizable mechs.

Also, the other way around, they have some series on Xenosaga, the anime being based on the video games, mostly concerning Kosmos.

Otherwise though, that is pretty much it.

I have to agree with Termie, I don't really play games based on anime other than pokemon, and thats just cause I want to play the same game with new creature alot.

But, my favorite game based on anime, would probably be one of the FMA games.

My favorite anime based on games is the Devil May Cry anime, its amazing.

Huh, I did not know there was a DMC anime. I shall try to find and watch it.
