Who is She?

So... who is the chick on the top of the front page holding the flowers? Is this Lisa from Castlevania?

And also, who are the two people on the background wallpaper? One is obviously a vampire, and the other is holding a really cool sword.

The flower women is Julia Laforeze from Castlevania Curse of Darkness, sister to Isaac, the enemy of the game. She basically acts as a shopkeeper for the protagonist.

The man holding the sword is Soma Cruz, the protagonist from Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow. He is also the heir to Dracula's powers, which means he is the next to embody the soul of Dracula. So you can imagine all the inner conflicts he must face in order to remain himself...

However, I have no idea who the women is. This was a random put together of a wallpaper, so she must be from some Castlevania game or another, or it is a depiction I fail to recognize. It is Ayami Kojima artwork though.

On this subject, what are some of the names? Juste reminds me of Justin, who may have been the protagonist of a Catlevania game on the GB, and I'm thinking Alucard might be a priest (but that's just an assumption from the contexts).

Juste Belmont was the protagonist of Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance. It might have been something else in Japanese, but otherwise it is Juste, and quite right, it is on GBA.

Alucard is merely Dracula spelled backwards, but his real name is Adrian Tepes Farenheights. He is the son of Dracula, who appeared in two video games so far, to stop his father.

And of course I must mention, Lisa, which is my avatar, is actually Ilona Elisabeth Szilagy, (Farenheights after being married to Count Vlad.) also named after the actual wife of the actual Vlad the Impaler, apparently.

How could I not get Alucard? It;s a well-known fact that vampires have backwards-spelled names, though here it;s not to confuse people.

And Christopher Belmont is the protagonist of Castlevania II (Belmont';s Revenge, the GB game, not Castlevania 2: Simon;s Quest)

It;s confusing keeping track of all the different peole who fight Dracula over his centuries-long lifespan.

PS: WHo;s in my avatar? It;s hard for me to tell the difference between the diffferent Castlevania characters, even when I;ve seen them in a game or concept art.

I screwed up, ha ha Alucard also appears in both Aria and Dawn of Sorrow, although under a different name, (Arikado Genya.) and with black hair. (In modern times he acts as a spy for the government. Okay what the fuck.)

Actually JET I am not sure who at all your avatar is. Ayami Kojima depicts him merely as ''swordsman'' but he I think he looks exactly like Simon Belmont, only with blond hair. :/

It's the hair that's stopping me figuring out who he is through research, because none of the post-16bit (non concept-art) characters have long hair, that is that dark blond, and not all curly.

Either way, it is cool. You couldn;t have picked a cooler vampire-themed theme for the forum.

(Also, I checked on the movie, and couldn;t find any concept art for it, so I think it;s safe to assume that he is not the movie's sword-weilding protagonist).

Castlevania rocks, and so does the art of this "Ayami Kojima" person.

I looked in her sites to see if I could find out who this swordsman is, but it never says anything but that. However Simon uses a whip, not a sword. In fact every single Belmont have always used whips, so I am really wondering who the hell that is. XD

The artwork to me looks kind of like the style that you used to see on the covers of Heavy Metal magazine. A very classic interpretation of fantasy art. It might be a left over piece from this era.

It does look cool though, I like the way he is holding the sword. I wish I could find a cool avatar of Cloud holding the Buster Sword.

Ah right, Heavy Metal comics! I used to have a few of those around, but I do not remember what happened to them. Some of the stories were really interesting though, and some quite weird, creepy and even sad.

Hmm...well I remember finding this swordsman avatar in a Castlevania avatar list, so I always figured that it was Castlevania related. But yes, it might very well be random Kojima art, too. :/

And for the picture you want, well, if I see something, I will certainly let you know.

I think I know the one I want but cannot find it. It is a picture of Cloud Strife holding a weapon that is not a sword. Hmm.

I will keep searching for it.

Nice. I may be able to help (no matter what you do, it'll end up at a lower resolution, but there are things that can be done to work around that.) Do doy want it like a full shot, with margins added the same color as the background, do you want just the upper body or from the knees up? (I assume you don;t just want the face, as that would defeat the purpose of findinjg one with a rifle.)
