Re: Diary of hell
That's bad... [sympathy] at both of you.
@firesnake: hopefully you will have other chances to talk to her about it.
@Miss Valentine: Man... Just... Seriously! It's unlikely you could sue unless they proclaimed the job finished when it cearly wasn't (and it would probably be more money and hassle than worth), but you could contact one of the government- or government-sponsored departments that hndle this sort of irresponsibility (like a business bureau, or a department of contractor liscensing).
But nice revenge on MSN brother

Re: Diary of hell
I'm afraid it just gets worse guys-
1. Woke up Sunday morning, found that my heating is still on the blink. Wanted to bath the little one but it would be too cold, so my mum told us to go to her house. I didn't want to give in that easy, so I found on of the old plug-in heaters I used last winter, I wanted to plug that in and give Jonny a bath. But as soon as I plugged it in the sockets all tripped out, leaving only the lights and fridge-freezer working. That was the final straw, and off to mothers we went.
2. Managed to get myself and Jonny sorted out there, we stayed all day and slept the night. It wasn't all bad though, something really good happened- I COMPLETED FFXII!!!!! Well, the storyline anyway, it'll take years to do all the hunts (have done 27 so far), but considerning how totally hard I found the game I was really proud of myself, and it cheered me up big time.
3. This morning came, rang the big head builder dude to tell him about all the problems (my brother told me the bathroom window had also been leaking with the rain). He fixed my electric probs, somebody will fix the window tomorrow, and he brought 3 more of the plug-in heaters to keep us warm until a new heating system can be installed.
Ok, this is the start of week 3, after this just 3 more weeks to go. But I completed FFXII I'm so happy!!!!
That may sound crazy but I don't have much else to be ahppy about so I'm gonna hang onto this happy feeling!

Re: Diary of hell
Oooooh just noticed, Firesnakious, you still didn't tell that girl you like her? Aw man, though maybe at a party is not a good time anyways, beer and emotions don't mix.
You'll get there eventually, just remember to leave the booze out of it!

Re: Diary of hell
My God, no heating...Congratulations on finishing Final fantasy XII.
I did not get very far into it, unfortunately.
And please forgive my recent lack of response, but I am certainly not ignoring anyone. Will attempt to do better.
In any case, I sincerely hope that the following three weeks will be a little more forgiving then what I have been reading.

Me too, and I hope you are doing Ok too Termie, I know you've had a pretty rough time lately too. Lets all get our chins up!
Awww 'Snakious, quite the gentleman! But don't be hasty, wait until she's better and tell her how you feel. Ooooh you are so close! Having a weepy moment here

Re: Diary of hell
Ooooh double posting is allowed right?
Just going over today's fun, it was actually quite a good day-
1. Went to Leeds to have dinner with my brother, he turned 20 today. He got the biggest pizza I've ever seen, and the waiter (it was an Italian restaurant) looked and sounded a lot like Al Cid from FFXII spooky!
2. Came home to find that an electrical fire has been installed in my house, and a new heating system, but I can use it until the electricity certificate comes through so for another 2 weeks the little plug-in things will have to suffice. Also found I have a new shed door, but no key for it!

Re: Diary of hell
Awwww man, it totally sucks. Don't like seeing you unhappy! And you ate all my candy filled muffins from FFnet!
Hopefully my embarrassing photo of myself (I don't do photos well) will cheer you up. When I get round to putting it on!
